OUR STORY: With a love of art, music and good beer, Bishops set out to create a brand that would become a lifestyle. Bishops’ first shop opened over 15 years ago in Portland, Oregon. Their goal was to provide great haircuts at aﬀordable prices, while giving clients and stylists a place to be their unique selves.

This brand/lifestyle was exactly what Kellie Wurtzman fell in love with and wanted to bring to Columbus, Ohio. When the doors opened earlier this year, Bishops in Clintonville became the 18th location in the United States. “I wanted a place that embraced all walks of life in an inclusive, fun and laid back environment where a client could get a killer cut or color without breaking the bank ,” says Kellie. “Bishops allows clients to customize their services to meet their exact needs.” Bishops prides itself on simple, quality services [oﬀering cuts and colors for men, women and chil-dren] at aﬀordable prices, while celebrating our diﬀerences.

Upon entering Bishops, clients are greeted by a friendly staﬀ and an easy self-service check-in process. No appointment is necessary, it is easy to reserve a spot with one of the talented stylists (just walk in or check in online @bishops.co). The short wait gives you just enough time to relax, enjoy the signature black lemonade, and catch a little bit of what is streaming on “Bishops TV”. The lifestyle that has been created by the Bishops brand sets out to support its employees, its community and its clients in an environment that recognizes and celebrates each individual.
