Cherries get their color from plant chemicals called anthocyanins which have exerted antiinflammatory properties in some studies. Spinach is high in calcium, potassium, and magnesium which all help keep bones strong and joints supple. Cinnamon and turmeric are also high in antioxidants.

Cinnamon Cherry Smoothie

(Makes One Serving)

  • Ingredients
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend to desired consistency. ENJOY!
