Lubna Najjar was originally born in Amman, Jordan where she lived with her family for much of her childhood. Najjar exhibited the same drive to succeed as her two entrepreneur parents who moved their family to northeast Ohio to pursue the American dream.
Her interest in international relations and business led to her dream of becoming a business woman. She went to work for the Ohio House of Representatives after graduating from Kent State, but she found herself without a job when there was a change in the dominant political party. This sudden opportunity was just what she needed to propel herself into beginning her fashion career.
